John Plunkett
Senior Minister
John was born in Covington, KY. Upon graduation from High School, he left home for Lincoln Christian College. He met his wife Faye in college and has been a life long resident of Illinois ever since. Faye supported her husband in obtaining his Bachelor's in Christian Ministry and in his early ministries. John and Faye have two children. Brad is a pharmacist living in Indianapolis. Jennifer is employed by Caterpillar and serves as the worship leader at CCCC. John graduated from LCC in 1969.. Jennifer graduated from LCC and UofI Springfield in 1995. Faye graduated from LCC in 2003. John has served CCCC for the thirty years, leading the church through the last 30 yrs of the church's 60 year existence. John enjoys golf, yard work and traveling. He has made two trips to India and Cambodia. John calls preaching his passion and continues to bring a freshness and relevence to each message.
